The user email is used to authenticate you on the platform. Your confirmation of registration and your first-time password will be sent to this email address so please ensure it is a functioning address. You can sign-in to MyCovenant through this user email and if needed, create additional sign-in credentials for your colleagues.

MyCovenant will use your email address for sending automatic notifications about reporting template deadlines.

Please be informed that the Covenant of Mayors office, and the Joint Research Centre - in case of submission of action plans via MyCovenant - will use your user email to contact you in case of need. Please be informed that this includes automatic notifications sent by the MyCovenant platform (e.g. upon confirmation of your registration). Communication-related messages (e.g. on upcoming opportunities and events) will be received only if you are registered to our newsletter.

As soon as the registration has been been approved by the Covenant of Mayors team, you will receive a link via mail to connect your MyCovenant account with your EU Login Account. The EU Login has to be used as authentication method.
